Warm Welcome

My wife Jane and I live in Delaware were visiting my step mother in Gig Harbor when I heard of the Living Christmas Tree. We had taken her to dinner and took a chance and rode over to the church to see if there was any chance of obtaining tickets. When I walked in I was immediately greeted by a man who asked if he could assist me. I told him where I was from and that I had my mom with me who is on a walker and wanted to know if by chance any tickets were still available. He said go get your mom and wife and come in. I went and got them and when we walked in he took us to another gentleman who had us take a seat and told us to wait until the crowd got in and he would escort us to seats that would make it easy for mom. While waiting I walked downstairs and was greeted by a female asking if we were would like some refreshments. She made up plate of food that mom and my wife enjoyed while waiting. Once the performance began my wife wanted to take pictures but our phone was dead so I walked to the refreshment table and asked the young ladies if they by chance had a charger. They did not but one of the young ladies actually gave me her phone to use and we were able to get the photos and videos. Afterwards she got my email address and sent me the pictures. Never have I walked into a church and felt the love and care that was displayed by everyone I came in contact with. One older usher who had been working on the tree many years stood by me and shared his story with me that was vey touching. May God be with all of you in the year 2020. Happy New Year!
