A Christmas Tradition
Since 1963

My wife Jane and I live in Delaware were visiting my step mother in Gig Harbor when I heard of the Living Christmas Tree. We had taken her to dinner and took a chance and rode over to the church to see if there was any chance of obtaining tickets. When I walked in I was immediately greeted by a man who asked if he could assist me. I told him where I was from and that I had my mom with me who is on a walker and wanted to know if by chance any tickets were still available. He said go get your mom and wife and come in. I went and got them and when we walked in he took us to another gentleman who had us take a seat and told us to wait until the crowd got in and he would escort us to seats that would make it easy for mom. While waiting I walked downstairs and was greeted by a female asking if we were would like some refreshments. She made up plate of food that mom and my wife enjoyed while waiting. Once the performance began my wife wanted to take pictures but our phone was dead so I walked to the refreshment table and asked the young ladies if they by chance had a charger. They did not but one of the young ladies actually gave me her phone to use and we were able to get the photos and videos. Afterwards she got my email address and sent me the pictures. Never have I walked into a church and felt the love and care that was displayed by everyone I came in contact with. One older usher who had been working on the tree many years stood by me and shared his story with me that was vey touching. May God be with all of you in the year 2020. Happy New Year!

My mother died suddenly in her sleep 7 Christmas mornings ago. I didn't really look forward to Christmas much after that. Then, 2 years ago, I went to see the Singing Christmas Tree, a year after my brother committed suicide. I experienced the joyous outpouring of hope and wonder depicted in the children's smiles, the dance and song filled with color and life. This helped me in the healing process to move forward. I went again this year, still reeling from the shock of the atrocity in Newtown, CT. Yet the wonder, the joy in the celebration of Jesus' birth, the Life in knowing Jesus came through once again. Thank you and God bless you.

This was my first year coming to “The Singing Christmas Tree” and what a treat! If you have never gone, what are you waiting for?

I woke up this morning and I was praying that I wanted to go somewhere. Someone called me and asked if we wanted to go to a musical. He didn't give us the details. Well, when we walked in the door (of the sanctuary) it was "wow", the decorations... I've never seen some so pretty. My daughters saw the play years ago which has inspired them to start a drama ministry in our church, but I absolutely enjoyed everything about it. I like how the Christmas Story was brought out; I will be back with family and friends. Thank you so much!

This was my 3rd visit to Life Center's Singing Christmas Tree. This year I was blessed to have won tickets through Spirit 105.3 and bought my Mom and a couple of my dear friends with me. We all thoroughly enjoyed your production, the singing was tremendous and the set and story that was told was really beautiful. Well done to your congregation for once again telling the Greatest Story ever told. I would like to make it an annual tradition to see your production, thank you.

My sister-in-law and I attended yesterday's performance, and as a "first-timer" she was simply awestruck by the music, lights, and message of the Tree. As for me, I've seen several productions, but with my husband under the care of Hospice for terminal cancer, this year's two hours were the most blessed ones I've ever experienced.

Four decades of inspirational memories and sharing the love of God: that's what your Singing Christmas Tree has meant to me and my wife. We have seen countless presentations over the many years and with each one have come to love the experience more. In our early 30's at the first production, who would have thought we would have seen this many more. Health issues would now suggest that this may be the last performance I will get to enjoy. But, rest "I Believe". I have for a long time known that life, in the end, is made up of a mosaic of memories. And to you goes my deepest appreciation for the many fond memories you have provided. Finally, My greatest thanks to all of you who were involved in this years production, to all those who preceded you and to all those who will succeed you in future presentations that glorify our Lord and Savior.

2011 was our first visit to the Singing Christmas Tree; I was in tears. It’s a beautiful experience for the whole family. We decided to make it a family tradition to come every year. From the singing to the lights, the dancing & the message behind the plays, it warms my heart and soul. Not to mention, we got to take pictures capturing memories with the beautifully huge decorated tree in the foyer & the 3 beautiful dogs that were in the play. I wait patiently for next years Singing Christmas tree.

I went every year growing up to the Singing Christmas Tree and it has been a treasured memory. Yesterday I got to take my children to the program and I can tell it will be a treasured memory for them as well. Their first comment when it was over was “Can we go again next year?” Thank you for putting on such an amazing performance.
